Our story of success

The founders of Intact early noticed the trend of an increasing importance of safety and transparency of food production and founded Intact in the year 2001 with the aim to support quality conscious companies in assuring their product quality. An enormous commitment and the specialization on integrated solution statements enabled Intact its remarkable development.

Important milestones for the company's development

  • March 2011: Foundation of Intact US, Inc. in North Dakota, USA
  • December 2008: brand relaunch for repositioning
  • 2008: massive market extension and strong export growth
  • November 2007: Adoption of new strategic orientation
  • February 2006: general distribution contract with Organic Services/DE on international sales
  • October 2004: Foundation of Intact Switzerland GmbH together with distribution partner Agrobrain/CH
  • September 2003: Foundation of “e-Cert IT GmbH” through Intact with shareholding of project partners Austria Bio Garantie/AT, Bio.inspecta/CH and Naturland/DE
  • March 2003: "Constantin Award" – 1. Place for the project “Quality Assurance at Schirnhofer", Austrian consulting and IT award
  • November 2002: "Idea of the Year" is awarded to Intact at the competition for start-up entrepreneurs by the business magazine "Gewinn".
  • January 2002: Change of company name into Intact Consult Lebensmittelsicherheit GmbH
  • February 2001: Foundation of "Intact Consult Rauch & Lorber OEG" through Franz Rauch, Thomas Lorber, Hans Fruhmann and Peter Krainer
